Bangkok - Thursday, 18 February 2016, the press conference announcing the first MYANMAR SPORTS & LEISURE EXPO 2016 just concluded with over 40 leading operators from Thailand.
The government of Myanmar aims to push the economy to grow three-fold within three years, paving a road for privatization to support businesses and industries, especially the sports and health industry which is growing significantly but still not enough to meet current needs. The Ministry of industry, the Ministry of Sports, and the Olympic Committee of Myanmar, therefore, cooperate with Minh Vi Advertising and Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. to hold thefirst MYANMAR SPORTS & LEISURE EXPO 2016, the trade show and exhibition in sports and recreation, between 20-22 May 2016 at the Rose Garden Hotel Yangon to promote and support the sports industry to grow with quality and become internationally recognized.
The conference featured distinguished guests and speakers, including Lt Col RujSangudom, Deputy Governor for Professional Sports and Privileges of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), Mr. Romain Marselli, Business Development Director, Ms. Sabrina Hoang, project manager of Minh Vi Advertising and Exhibition Service Co., Ltd and local leading media such as TV 9 : Sport Focus, Daily News, KrungthepThurakit.
Mr. Romain Marselli, Business Development Director of Veas, shared some general information on growing trend in sports & fitness industry, as well as introduced and answered all questions related to the show scale, exhibitor benefits, and organizer information.
